New payment system from Aplettix removes need for credit cards for online purchases

Aplettix, a developer and marketer of secure e-commerce and m-commerce solutions has launched the Nexus-1 Internet payment system in the UK.
Nexus-1 is able to provide consumers with a method of carrying out online purchases without needing to input any credit card details. The solution works by providing a password that is inputted by the user whenever any credit card details are needed and a one-use-only credit card number is allocated for the transaction.
The service is now available through existing credit card issuers.
Pricing information has not yet been revealed.
