iomart to offer outsourced e-mail system to British companies

The UK telecomms and Internet services company iomart Group Plc is to launch what it claims to be Britain`s first secure outsourced e-mail platform, called ThinkMail.
Targeted at companies and organisations handling sensitive or confidential information, the new e-mail system was developed together with the US company Sendmail.
Trying to emulate the success of its American counterparts, iomart believes that the US model of contracting out the management of e-mail systems will be rapidly adopted in the UK.
