Internetmarket survey examines the use of e-mail newsletters in US marketing activities

According to business information publisher Internetmarket Group the majority of marketers in the US are planning to increase their use of e-mail newsletters.
Specifically, 65% of all those marketers taking part in the survey claimed that they intended to use e-mail newsletters more in their promotional activities. When questioned about the enthusiasm of consumers to join opt-in newsletter lists, 60% said that they observed little or no change over the past year while less than 10% claimed that willingness to join had decreased.
