Pop star online game launched

A new web site has been launched that offers visitors the chance to take part in the Fantasy Top 40 game.
Participants go online to choose their favourite pop stars and place them together in a band. The game will focus on accumulating money which the pop stars will earn by appearing on TV, magazine covers and award ceremonies as well as placing their songs or albums in the top 40.
The winner at the end of the game will reportedly win tickets to see their favourite pop stars perform.
The game will go live on http://www.fantasytop40.com on 1 September 2002. No pricing details were disclosed.
