VIA NET.WORKS launches SDSL broadband Internet service

Business ISP VIA NET.WORKS UK has begun offering a new broadband Internet service for businesses in the Greater London area of the UK.

The broadband Internet solution offers an SDSL connection rather than an ADSL one, to let businesses send and receive large amounts of data. VIA NET.WORKS also provides Service Level Agreements stating a level of network availability and customer support response times that will be adhered to.

Pricing starts at GBP250 per month for VIA SDSL Business Network with 512Kb/s upload and download speed and a 10:1 contention ratio. Also, 1Mb/s and 2Mb/s speeds and a 5:1 contention ratio are available.

All businesses placing an order for VIA SDSL before 28 February 2002 will receive free Teleworker packs with VIA dial-up services for up to five remote users.
