Survey reveals increase in implementation of web services technology amongst finance professionals

According to a survey conducted at the Softworld Accounting and Finance event on 16 and 17 October 2002, accounting and finance professionals are amongst the first to embrace web services technology.

The results of the survey revealed that 95% of the companies asked were planning to invest in web services technology this year compared to only 55% who were questioned in spring of this year.

The next Softworld Accounting and Finance event will take place on 5 and 6 March 2003 featuring an exhibition of leading players, including those that will be showcasing integration technology specifically aimed at the accounting and finance sector.
