A number of companies have come together to form the UK Association of Online Publishers.
The association is aimed at driving consistency and standards across the online publishing market. A spokesperson for the organisation has stated that the UK Association of Online Publishers is meant to be a platform for debate and discussion about the industry.
The companies that are part of the initiative include Hollinger Telegraph New Media, Guardian Unlimited, BBC News, The Economist Group, Reed Business Information and FT.com.
