A Finnish man has been caught after selling non-existent goods on the Internet.
The man from Turku has reportedly sold non-existent items on Internet auctions and acted under a false name. In some cases he received money after agreeing on delivery and payment through e-mails and a total of about ten persons have been deceived by the man.
The police have said that this type of deception appears to be quite common but as the sums are small few report the cases to the police. The police have also pointed out that the customer has the right to see the item before paying
even when it has been sent by cash on delivery, reported STT-FNB, a Finnish news service.
