American Airlines launches new web site

American Airlines has launched a new and improved version of its web site - http://www.aa.com.
The redesigned web site features proprietary reservation and booking technology from online travel agency Orbitz, making it easier for customers to find flight information and book travel, according to the airline.
The new web site also features the Net SAAver Alert, which allows the user to select up to 30 city pairs to be notified of regarding fare specials, and the Net SAAver Search, which allows the user to search all discounted fares posted on the web site by origin and destination.
The site incorporates Art Technology Group's online customer relationship management platform.
