New UK online dating site launched

A new online dating service has been launched in the UK at http://www.datetheuk.com called Date the UK.
The site provides a method of meeting and chatting anonymously to people online. Contact details are kept secure and not revealed to any other party unless authorisation is granted. Members can also post a photo of themselves online, use a search function for suitable matches and block members that they do not want to have contact with.
A spokesperson for the company has said that Date the UK is based in the UK and has been created exclusively for people living in the country.
Subscription costs were not revealed.
