BT launches click&buy online purchasing service

UK telecomms company BT Plc has launched a new service that lets Internet users buy goods and services online.

The BT click&buy service can be found at http://www.btclickandbuy.com and offers visitors the chance to purchase games, music, films, recipes, news, sport, horoscopes, ringtones or financial advice. BT has also signed up a number of third party content providers which will offer content for half price throughout the site's first week of operation. These include ringtones, logos and picture messages from http://www.iconaphone.com, an online tour from http://www.taj-mahal.net, children's books from http://www.talkingbooks.org, racing information from http://www.sportinglife.com, tutorials, reviews and features from http://www.internet-magazine.com, an online music magazine from http://www.skam.com and computing 'how-to' tips from http://www.computeractive.co.uk.

BT click&buy is available now. No pricing details were announced.
