HBOS opts for SPSS web analytics tools

Predictive analytics solutions provider SPSS has supplied its web analytics tools to UK financial institution Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) so that the company can measure its online sales process.
HBOS will also use the tools to increase the number of customers that make purchases through the company's web site by improving the quality of customer service. The web analytics tools can provide an overview of customer behaviour on the site as well as statistics on what pages are visited most and what information is viewed.
No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed.
