BlackSpider introduces antivirus service

Managed services provider BlackSpider Technologies has launched a service for improving e-mail security and reducing volumes of junk mail.
The service will see BlackSpider utilising in-house hardware and software together with its own Huntsman system for heuristic scanning capabilities. The company has also signed three agreements with antivirus companies so that it can provide constant protection against e-mail security threats. Viruses are blocked immediately, before they have the chance to enter the user's inbox.
Pricing details for the service were not announced.
