New study shows differences in domain name registration fees across the EU

A piece of research has been carried out by the Technical University of Vienna on the differences in the cost of domain names across the European Union.
The Austrian university found that registering a homepage cost from EUR137 in Sweden to just EUR19 in the UK. French domain names cost EUR75, Belgian ones cost EUR50 and German customers will have to pay EUR30.
Other results showed that Sweden has the highest Internet penetration with 51% while Greece has the lowest with 13.3%.
