YLE web pages cracked

The web pages of YLE, the Finnish broadcasting corporation, have been attacked by "crackers".
The pages were broken into overnight between Saturday and Sunday (6-7 December) and the crackers added links of their own.
The intrusion was first discovered on pages dealing with the president's independence day celebrations and the pages were closed down.
YLE has reported the intrusion to the police, the corporation said.
