VIA NET.WORKS UK finds one in 145 e-mails is a virus

Managed Internet services provider VIA NET.WORKS UK has made the claim that one out of every 145 e-mails is a virus.
The recording was made in January 2003 and observed all of the e-mails received by a number of small to medium sized businesses. VIA NET.WORKS UK says that this figure is a reduction from December 2002 which saw one out of every 130 e-mails being infected.
VIA NET.WORKS UK has also advised all businesses to make sure that their virus protection is up to date.
