Interoute offers 802.11g wireless Internet service in London

Network services provider Interoute has begun offering an 802.11g wireless Internet service in London, UK.
The network will provide high-speed wireless Internet access at speeds of up to 54Mb/s - five times faster than 802.11b, according to the company. Interoute goes on to state that due to the higher bandwidth 802.11g is more suitable for video and audio streaming as well as large file transfers.
No financial information was announced.
