Virgin.net holds charity auctions for Comic Relief

In support of the upcoming Comic Relief charity event UK ISP Virgin.net is holding a number of online charity auctions that are expected to raise approximately GBP10,000.

Visitors to the company's web site at http://www.virgin.com/auction can place their bids for a selection of Virgin products such as flights from Virgin Atlantic or a laptop computer with one year's worth of broadband access from Virgin.net. Other items up for auction include a dinner for two with Sir Richard Branson at the Babylon @ The Roof Gardens Restaurant in London, a Liberty X goodie bag, a case of wine, body pampering sessions and several books.

All of the proceeds from the auctions will be donated to Comic Relief.
