Parallel claims UK public sector sites need improvement

UK-based enterprise management company Parallel Ltd has completed a report showing that public sector web sites could perform better.
In the year-long study it was observed that each site experienced almost five days of downtime over the entire period. Similarly, the average download time for all of the public sector home pages monitored was 21.8 seconds while the Job Centre Online page took 80.35 seconds.
The survey observed 70 public sector sites over a period of one year.
