UK football club turns to Verio for web site hosting

UK football club Charlton Athletic FC is receiving managed hosting services from Verio Inc, a subsidiary of NTT Communications.
Under the terms of the agreement Charlton Athletic's web site at http://www.cafc.co.uk will be supported by NTT/VERIO PowerPlatform hosting services. This will enable the club to post video highlights of matches on the site and also to improve both uptime and security.
Verio will host a number of dedicated servers for Charlton Athletic together with security services and performance monitoring.
The web site was designed by Victoria Real, a digital communications agency.
No financial information was revealed.
