Software developer Macromedia Inc has introduced Macromedia Breeze Live, an online meeting solution.
Breeze Live utilises the Macromedia Flash Player, which according to Macromedia is installed on more than 98% of online desktops, so most meeting participants will not have to download any software to participate. Users can join a meeting by clicking a web link.
Content for the meeting such as PowerPoint presentations can be set up in advance, and meeting content can also be delivered live and changed in real-time during a meeting without having to interrupt the flow of the presentations.
Macromedia Breeze Live is available as either a hosted ASP service or standalone licensed solution. ASP packages start at USD83/month per user for a complete web conferencing solution.
More information can be found at http://www.macromedia.com/go/breezelive.
