Research firm Jupiter Research has completed a survey showing that PC users that download music from the Internet are as likely to buy a CD from a record shop as anyone else.
The company went on to state that those that downloaded music for free are also the ones that would be most likely to pay for an Internet download in the future. Downloaders are similarly more likely to listen to digital radio and visit artist web sites.
The survey polled 5,000 Internet users over the past summer in the UK, Sweden, Italy, Spain, France and Germany.
