Microsoft Windows operating systems used by most web users claims OneStat.com survey

Web analytics provider OneStat.com has conducted a new survey that shows the majority of Internet users have the Microsoft Windows operating system installed.
In total, 97.34% of all Internet users had some version of the Microsoft Windows operating system installed. Just 1.49% had an Apple Macintosh operating system installed while Linux was used by 0.51%.
Windows XP was found to be the most used Microsoft operating system with a total share of 38.48%. This was followed by Windows 98 with 22.56%.
