Netsky and its variants found to be the most common viruses in March 2004

Antivirus software provider Central Command has revealed its list of the most prevalent viruses for the month of March 2004 and found that the Netsky.D worm was the most common.
Netsky.D achieved a 35.9% share of all virus sightings, followed by its variants Netsky.B with 16.3% and Netsky.P with 11%. A further four versions of the Netsky virus were found to be in the virus chart for March 2004 while 15 versions in total were recorded and protected against. This meant that the Netsky worm family accounted for over 70.5% of all confirmed virus occurrences for the month, according to Central Command.
