LookSmart's UK directory acquired by UK Net Guide

Internet directory operator UK Net Guide has announced that it has acquired the rights of the UK directory from LookSmart, a web site reviewer.
A spokesperson for UK Net Guide said that the purchase will increase the number of web sites in the company's directory of independently reviewed sites in the UK as well as its market position.
Also as part of the agreement UK visitors to the http://www.looksmart.com and http://www.looksmart.co.uk sites will be redirected to http://www.uknetguide.co.uk.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not announced.
