Telecomms company Cable & Wireless has supplied its Distributed Denial of Service solution for Gibtelecom, an ISP in Gibraltar.
The new solution will enable Gibtelecom to scan its IP traffic for distributed denial of service attacks and prevent its customers from experiencing any downtime because of them. Should an attack be observed all of the traffic that is addressed to the targeted site is diverted for analysis and mitigation via Cable & Wireless.
Cable & Wireless will also provide 24 hour monitoring from its security and operations teams to ensure the service is continually working.
