More music file-swappers sued by US music organisation

The Recording Industry Association of America has announced that it has sued a further 477 individuals for online copyright infringement.
The association brought the court cases against the PC users for downloading music illegally and allowing their own music to be downloaded by others.
In total, 2,454 people have now had law suits brought against them by the Recording Industry of America for file-swapping offences. A spokesperson for the association said the legal moves are intended to reduce the rates of music piracy that are currently observed.
