C-MI Labs makes anti-virus software available online

C-MI Labs plc, a provider of network security solutions, has launched C-MI Express, an anti-virus application which can be downloaded from the Internet and installed within minutes.

The application reportedly offers customers complete protection against viruses, worms and Trojans for GBP20 per year. C-MI Express has been designed to automate all key tasks that are needed in order to keep computers and data safe.

According to C-MI Labs, the application provides an automated security service that is fully automatic and invisible to the user and it is specially designed for home users and offices without dedicated IT staff.

C-MI has also said that its Virus Research Laboratory has a 24-hour service and that it responds to new data security threats immediately. There is also a personal firewall program in C-MI Express, which filters Internet traffic and protects the user's computer and confidential data against hackers and Trojans, as well as preventing denial-of-service attacks.

C-MI Express is available for download from http://www.vpol.co.uk for GBP20 per annum, including VAT.
