UK bank offers online free online tax payment service

UK-based financial organisation the Alliance & Leicester has announced that computer users that have not yet made their self-assessment tax payments can do so online at their BillPay web site.
The site can be found at http://www.billpayment.co.uk and features online options which enables the visitor to make a payment to the Inland Revenue using just their debit card.
A spokesperson for the Alliance & Leicester said that if tax payers that are required to submit a self-assessment do not do so by this weekend they will see their bill rise by 5%.
The service is free to use.
