The Federation of Sub Postmasters in the UK has announced that it is currently working on introducing free Internet kiosks in sub post office locations.
The Internet kiosks will reportedly enable visitors to the post offices to pay their bills online. Kiosks will be equipped with a touch screen and will also let users shop online and search for local information.
A spokesperson for the organisation said that the move is intended to secure the future of post offices in the UK.
The cost of the initiative was not disclosed.
