A German court has banned a journalist from selling his review copies of books on internet auction site e-bay saying that it breached German price-fixing arrangements.
A bookseller sued the journalist complaining that the discounted books broke price competition laws after he posted 48 books on the auction site in two weeks.
The judge rejected the journalist's argument that he was just making a bit on the side and said that as an e-bay 'power seller' he was on a par with professional booksellers and so bound by the same book-price laws, reports Expatica.
