Apple sells 50m songs online

Macintosh developer Apple Computer Corp has announced that it has had over 50m songs downloaded from its iTunes Music Store.
In total, there are 2.5m songs downloaded each week which, according to Apple, will result in an annual rate of 130m songs. The 50 millionth song downloaded was reportedly 'The Path of Thorns' by Sarah McLachlan.
No pricing details were revealed.
