Arcot's online transaction security solution chosen by Malta-based bank

Online transaction and interaction software provider Arcot Systems has had its TransFort payment authentication solution chosen by Bank of Valletta, a banking services provider in Malta.
Bank of Valletta can now implement the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode payment authentication programmes. This will ensure that cardholders can verify and protect their identities when shopping online.
The aim of the TransFort solution, according to Arcot, is to enable the same level of security when shopping online as is experienced in traditional shopping.
No financial terms were disclosed.
