Serebra makes agreement with Uganda to deliver e-learning cards

Serebra Learning Corporation (TSX VEN: SBR), a Canadian provider of e-learning products, has said that it has made an agreement with the Republic of Uganda to provide an initial quantity of one million EasyLearning cards.
The cards will complement Uganda's Universal Primary and Secondary Education programmes that are meant to enhance and prepare Uganda with sufficient skills in Information Technology, Professional Development and Vocational Education.
Serebra has said that over 400 certification level Information Technology (IT) and Professional Development (PD) courses are being offered to Ugandan students through the company's technology. The courses are accessible via the Internet from any location with Serebra's PIN-based EasyLearning Cards.
The company has also said that the Republic of Uganda has agreed to sponsor an initial quantity of one million EasyLearning courses and Serebra's revenues, under the terms of the agreement, will be USD1.4m.
