INTERNET BUSINESS NEWS-(C)1995-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Fasthosts, a UK hosting provider, has launched eMerchant, a full merchant solution for businesses trading online.

According to the company, Fasthosts' eMerchant account, backed by the Bank of Ireland, offers an online account sign-up, can be set up by businesses with minimal trading history and with no up front charges. eMerchant customers are not expected to pay for the service until their first sales come in, the company claims. Following transactions, the money from purchases is reportedly paid directly into the trader's specified bank account.
