AMD and Telefonica announce availability of affordable Internet connectivity to Sao Paulo state in Brazil

AMD (NYSE:AMD), a designer and manufacturer of microprocessors, and Telefonica, a telecommunications company, today (19 December) announced availability of the FIC Conectado Personal Internet Communicator (PIC) in San Paulo, Brazil.
The FIC Conectado PIC is a complete Internet access solution including software, hardware, connectivity and support, which delivers simple and reliable web access.
It is currently available in all the cities in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo.
The Personal Internet Communicator is the first of many solutions AMD and its partners plan to offer to increase global connectivity, AMD said.
The FIC Conectado PIC is available for BRL799.00, plus delivery, or BRL42.90 per month, including Internet service and support.
