Eclipse Internet welcomes BT's FLEX Broadband

UK broadband provider, Eclipse Internet, has welcomed telecomms group BT's decision to support higher bandwidth broadband and provide customers with the fastest speed available on their line.

Eclipse claims that its users have been able to boost their broadband connection speed to 2Mb/s for the past eight months through their FLEX Broadband service. The company has also introduced a new Home Broadband product that gives customers the fastest speed possible on their line from GBP14.99 a month.

A spokesperson for Eclipse said that it is happy that the rest of the industry has decided to catch up with its service and provide users with the fastest broadband services possible. The company also said that it is planning to be one of the first ISPs to offer 4Mb/s and 8Mb/s download speeds before the end of 2005.
