TeliaSonera expands broadband coverage in Sweden's Orebro County

Finnish-Swedish telecomms operator TeliaSonera AB said on Thursday (17 February) that it was expanding its broadband network coverage in the Orebro County in Sweden.
Municipalities in the county had signed a supplementary agreement with the network provider, TeliaSonera Network Sales, for a build-out of the existing broadband network, according to the company.
As a result of the supplementary agreement, a larger number of residents and companies in the municipalities would gain access to the network, the company added.
Under the new agreement another 82 telecommunication switching centres in the county will be upgraded for ADSL, TeliaSonera said.
