Free online social network for gay men unveiled

A free online social network for homosexual men to chat to friends and meet like-minded people has been unveiled by MAND8.
Features of MAND8 are said to include extensive profiling and search facilities and four degrees of separation networking (to enable members to meet friends of friends). Audio, text and video messaging, private messaging, forums, event listings and groups are also provided. According to MAND8, the latest chat software is used including Flash web applications that support live audio, video and text communication.
More features are to be unveiled during the official launch in September. Over 1,500 people are reported to have already signed up to the subscription-free network which can be found at http://www.mand8.com.
