A new online search facility called Snapsearch.com has been launched to enable eBay users to ensure that they are paying the correct price for their purchases. The site displays eBay search results alongside Internet search results for relevant shopping sites on a split screen display.
Users of the site are able to check prices of products listed on eBay with similar products available online by clicking on the selected websites. This enables users to cross-reference the prices of their selected eBay items to determine the market value before placing a bid.
In addition, users of eBay are able to examine their search results by individual country by clicking on the relevant country flags which are found at the top of the search page. Regular users of the site are also provided with e-mail and RSS updates enabling them to access the latest eBay news.
Snapsearch.com can be viewed at http://www.snapsearch.com and is free to use.
