Catch Communication ASA and Elkjop Nordic AS agree on IP telephony joint venture

Norwegian broadband services provider Catch Communication ASA said on Friday (15 July) that it had reached an agreement with Elkjop Nordic AS on a joint venture in IP telephony.
The IP Talk AS company created by Catch for this venture has a distribution and marketing agreement with Elkjop Nordic, which would market the 'network-independent' solution.
The offering would be launched in Norway during September 2005, with a possible subsequent introduction to Sweden and Denmark.
