The Independent Police Complaints Commission in the UK has launched its rebuilt and expanded web site. The site includes many new features that make it easier for complainants to use, as well as the police service and general users.
According to the IPCC the site now includes a simple to use form that complainants can fill in online with the details of their complaint and send directly through to the IPCC. In addition there is a dedicated section for police officers and civilian staff that explains how the complaints system affects them.
The site also includes an information centre to explain the themes behind the IPCC's work, with sections on policing and mental health and a section advertising job vacancies with the Commission.
The new site can be found at http://www.ipcc.gov.uk.
