A website created by Underwired, a digital agency, has been launched by retailer Harrods in support of the 'Truly British' promotion at the Harrods store in London, UK.
Underwired was chosen to create the online introduction of the promotion, which features traditional British brands, and a microsite has been launched alongside the in-store promotion which runs until 15 October 2005. The in-store promotion is supported by the Capital Radio breakfast show and features activities, celebrities and events.
The website will be promoted by an online PR campaign by Underwired's PR division and will include exclusive online offers intended to encourage visitors to the store, along with competitions and the generation of CRM data. Harrods said that Underwired was chosen for the website's development due to its creativity, online marketing and CRM activity experience.
The Truly British promotion is supported by partnerships including one with the English National Ballet and the website can be found at http://www.harrods.com/trulybritish.
