Fast Search & Transfer ASA signs enterprise search platform contract with YouTube Inc

The Norwegian real-time search technology provider Fast Search & Transfer ASA (FAST) said on Wednesday (2 August) that it has received a contract for its FAST for Site Search solution from the US consumer media company YouTube Inc.
The solution, based on the enterprise search platform FAST ESP, will be deployed to power search on the YouTube.com site.
The contract is based on fees for software licences, and maintenance and professional services.
