Daily Mail & General Trust acquires three further online properties

Some three online businesses specialising in autos and job searches have been acquired by publisher Daily Mail & General Trust, which also publishes the Daily Mail and London's Evening Standard.
The publisher confirmed it has acquired Auto Exposure Limited, Interbase Limited and The Appointment Limited, for an initial consideration of GBP12.3m. The acquisitions are the most recent of a number of purchases made by the company.
According to Daily Mail & General Trust, the newly acquired companies have a GBP17m total valuation, with a combined GBP4.5m turnover.
The publisher has made significant investment in online properties, along with others in the UK newspaper market, in order to access online marketing spend. It has previously acquired the online dating sites GirlsDateForFree and LoopyLove and the Primelocation property site.
