Cardinal Nutrition sponsors new MSM website

A website focusing on the joint health supplement methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) has been introduced, sponsored by MSM manufacturer Cardinal Nutrition, to provide an information resource for consumers, practitioners, retailers, the media and researchers.
The website, which can be found at http://www.MSMGuide.com, provides scientific facts and research information intended to boost understanding of and confidence in MSM as a dietary supplement. Site content was created by the MSMGuide.com Advisory Council, which said while most joint health brands contain MSM, there is a lack of awareness and knowledge about the safety and effectiveness of the product.
The site offers a consumer section providing MSM Facts, Dosage Tables, FAQs, Manufacturing and Safety; and a practitioner section with FAQs and Interactions with Medications information. It also offers an Osteoarthritis and Joint Pain Section with cause/treatment of common and sports joint pain; and an MSM Research Section with research going back up to 20 years.
Cardinal Nutrition said there is a responsibility to provide credible information about MSM to consumers and practitioners, to ensure informed decisions can be made.
