Harris Stratex Networks selected by TDF for WiMAX backhaul in France

Harris Stratex Networks Inc (Nasdaq: HSTX), an independent supplier of turnkey wireless transmission solutions, announced on Monday (5 November) that the company has been awarded a contract by TDF, a converged service provider based in France, to provide its Eclipse wireless transport platform.
The Eclipse radios will reportedly provide high-speed Gigabit Ethernet connections for TDF's WiMAX network.
TDF has secured licenses to provide WiMAX at 3.5GHz across 11 territories in France.
