Finjan introduces Vital Security Web appliances v9.0

Web security solutions provider Finjan Inc announced on Tuesday (8 April) the release of version 9.0 of its Vital Security Web appliances.

According to the company, Vital Security v9.0 introduces a new active real-time inspection technology from Finjan research lab and features an integrated dashboard providing real-time information on the system's performance and security risk level. Security policies are managed quickly with Finjan's security policy decision-making system, which includes a single-click rules refinement.

In addition, the new release includes increased Web 2.0 and productivity control modules using URL filtering engines from information technology company IBM (NYSE:IBM) and security company Websense, Inc (NASDAQ:WBSN).
