MapQuest expands agreement with NAVTEQ

INTERNET BUSINESS NEWS-(C)1995-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
NAVTEQ (NYSE:NVT), which creates, updates, enhances, licenses and distributes a digital map database, reported yesterday (20 May) that its agreement with MapQuest, the mapping website in the US, has been expanded.
As per the agreement, MapQuest will use the company's data in both its Internet and mobile applications, will have access to all 73 countries in the NAVTEQ map database, besides future country releases. This improves MapQuest's location offerings by providing rich map content beyond the US.
