New software features and content are being added to the online store, music community and Zune Pass monthly subscription service relating to Zune, an all-in-one digital entertainment brand from software company Microsoft Corp (Nasdaq:MSFT).

The company said Zune is expanding its video store to include downloads of TV shows from COMEDY CENTRAL, FUNimation Entertainment, MTV, NBC Universal, Nickelodeon, Starz Media, Turner Broadcasting, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and VH1. It claimed the new software enables users to more easily find and listen to music they like, share it and access it while on the go, with Zune Pass subscribers able to establish automatic, real-time music feeds.

Microsoft confirmed that new updates to the Zune online music community includes syncing Zune Cards to a device, with users able to drag and drop Zune Cards from friends to a Zune device; an enhanced friends search; artist and album reviews; reputation badges; and Windows Live connections.

Zune has updated and added features and functionality to improve integration between the software, the online music community and the store. Updates include features such as the ability to sync multiple Zune players; gapless playback; auto playlists; the ability to browse video collections; edit album and track information; organise collections; Zune reminders; and group syncing.

Zune Pass subscription enables users to explore millions of tracks for USD14.99 per month, while Zune uses can select from over 800 TV series episodes, 4,800 music videos, 3,500 audio and video podcasts and 3.5m tracks.
